CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
"3rd National Conference of Liver transplantation Society of India"
November 5-8, 2020
Deadline for submission of abstracts: October 15 th , 2020
General Information:
The members of the Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts:
Abstracts will be accepted in three categories:
- Oral Presentation
- Poster presentation
- Video presentation
Note: - The presenting author must register for the congress as a delegate at the time of
acceptance of the abstract. Registration fee is not waived.
Oral and Poster Abstract Submission
The oral and poster abstracts organized as described above must be submitted through the online portal.
The video abstract should be at least 200 words and submitted through the online portal.
Oral and video presentations will be in a virtual format; posters will be e-posters.
Five best abstracts will be selected for oral presentation during the conference.
Five best posters will be displayed during the conference.
Awards will be given to selected top abstracts as decided by the jury.
TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS AND FORMAT
- Abstracts must be written on a single page with a 1inch border on all sides
- The abstract must have a title of upto 2 lines only in capital letters
- The authors must be presented with the first initial and the last name, official title and
institutions of affiliation
- The presenting author's name must be underlined
- The text of the abstract must be based on the following outline:
- Title
- Introduction
- Material & Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- The text cannot exceed 300 words and must be double spaced with "Times New Roman" font with a size of 12
- 1 table and/or illustration is permitted per abstract.
- Footnotes must include your e-mail address.
Video Abstract Submission
TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS AND FORMAT
- The video abstract should be at least 200 words and submitted through the online portal.
- The abstract should contain a title, the author(s) or surgeon(s) performing the surgery
and the name of the institution and place where the surgery took place. Please list
first and last names of contributors.
- The length of the video should be 10 minutes in length.
Note: - The abstract should contain and identify a category from one of the following areas:
- Anesthesia/Critical Care Medicine
- Acute Liver Failure Comorbidities, Infections, Complications
- Deceased Donation and Machine Perfusion
- Donor Selection Criteria/Patient Selection/ Organ Allocation
- Immunosuppression
- Living Donor Transplantation
- Malignancies
- Pediatric Transplantation
- Short and Long-term Patient and Allograft Outcomes
