The Associate Consultant in Liver Transplant and GI Surgery will participate in the evaluation, surgical management, and postoperative care of patients undergoing liver transplantation and complex hepatobiliary procedures as well as advanced GI Surgery procedures. The role involves active participation in living donor liver transplant surgeries, pre-transplant workup, donor and recipient evaluation, ICU and ward management, and multidisciplinary coordination. The candidate will also contribute to clinical research, academic activities, and training of fellows.
• MCh / DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology, HPB Surgery, MS Surgery with post PG experience or equivalent qualification
• Fellowship or experience in Liver Transplantation (minimum 2 years) must
• Strong understanding of pre-transplant evaluation, transplant surgery, and post-transplant care
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary transplant team
• Interest in clinical research and academic work
• Good communication and patient management skills (Fluent Hindi and English must)
