Organ donation & Allocation
Aims:
Increase Organ Donation: To promote organ donation and increase the availability of organs for transplantation.
Optimize Organ Allocation: To ensure equitable and efficient allocation of organs to patients in need.
Reduce Waitlist Mortality: To minimize the number of patients who die while waiting for a transplant.
Objectives:
Public Awareness Campaigns: To educate the public about organ donation and dispel myths and misconceptions.
Donor Family Support: To provide support and counseling to donor families.
Improve Organ Retrieval and Transportation: To optimize the process of retrieving and transporting organs.
Develop Equitable Allocation Systems: To implement fair and transparent allocation policies.
Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: To work with hospitals and healthcare professionals to increase organ donation rates.
Monitor and Evaluate Outcomes: To track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
