Organ donation & Allocation

Aims:

  1. Increase Organ Donation: To promote organ donation and increase the availability of organs for transplantation.
  2. Optimize Organ Allocation: To ensure equitable and efficient allocation of organs to patients in need.
  3. Reduce Waitlist Mortality: To minimize the number of patients who die while waiting for a transplant.

Objectives:

  1. Public Awareness Campaigns: To educate the public about organ donation and dispel myths and misconceptions.
  2. Donor Family Support: To provide support and counseling to donor families.
  3. Improve Organ Retrieval and Transportation: To optimize the process of retrieving and transporting organs.
  4. Develop Equitable Allocation Systems: To implement fair and transparent allocation policies.
  5. Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: To work with hospitals and healthcare professionals to increase organ donation rates.
  6. Monitor and Evaluate Outcomes: To track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
