Practice Guidelines Development

Aims:

  1. Improve Patient Outcomes: Establish guidelines that optimize outcomes for patients undergoing liver transplantation, based on current scientific evidence and expert consensus.
  2. Standardize Practices: Create evidence-based protocols to harmonize liver transplantation procedures and practices across centers.
  3. Promote Equity: Ensure fair and transparent criteria for patient selection, organ allocation, and post-transplant care.
  4. Enhance Safety and Quality: Minimize risks associated with liver transplantation through consistent safety measures and quality control.
  5. Facilitate Knowledge Dissemination: Share best practices and advances in liver transplantation with the medical community.
  6. Adapt to Regional Needs: Ensure guidelines are flexible enough to be adapted to regional healthcare infrastructure, organ availability, and legal frameworks.
