Eligibility and Selection

• Candidate Requirements:
  1. All candidates admitted for the LTSI Fellowship should hold a recognized medical degree from a medical school listed in the WHO directory of medical schools.
  2. There is no age limit for fellows. The fellowship is open to both Indian and foreign trainees.
  3. Candidates must be registered to practice medicine in India. Foreign graduates must maintain registration with the National Medical Council (NMC) throughout the training period.
  4. Prospective fellows must be post DM/DNB (Gastroenterology or Hepatology)
  5. Equivalent training and qualifications are acceptable for foreign graduates or Indian clinicians holding recognized foreign qualifications.
• Academic Requirements:
  1. Fellows are required to actively participate in academic activities, including journal clubs, seminars, case presentations, and other educational programs as scheduled by the training center.
  2. Fellows must maintain the LTSI-prescribed logbook documenting all academic activities and clinical involvement throughout the fellowship.
